2018年5月18日，正值国际博物馆日，“丝亦——时装艺术展”在苏州丝绸博物馆呈现。六位不同地域的当代时装艺术家将纺织工艺、丝线运用、服装裁剪等方面的创意与中国传统历史、绘画、甚至地理的思考结合在一起，用一条丝线串连起时装与艺术，以传统丝织技艺密密绕成的茧为养分，蝶化为件件精美的艺术作品，赞叹之余，亦引人深思。以丝为媒，左手时装，右手艺术，也正记录了你我所身处新时代的审美追求。

"The Extension of Silk——Fashion Art Exhibition" would open at Suzhou Silk Museum on 18th of May, 2018, also known as the International Museum Day.Six Fashion Art artists would adopt innovative approaches combing textile, weaving, tailoring, and reflection of traditional Chinese history, painting, and geography.With silk threads, Fashion and Art are connected, artworks are metamorphosed as absorbed from traditional silk weaving and embroidering technics, which is marvelous and moreover contemplating.Silk as the medium, one hand with Fashion, the other with Art. This exhibition records aesthetics of the era that you and I are dwelling in.
