《叠续》这组作品是从苗族叠绣(也叫“堆绣”)中一个个小三角形中提取的灵感,每个小三角的叠加、堆积,都代表着人生阅历的积累,无论是好的、坏的,酸的、甜的、苦的、辣的,都是人生成长的一部分。工艺上采用了激光切割、手工制作、平立裁结合;色彩上,主面料用了灰绿色的皮革,给人安静、思考的情绪;制作叠绣的面料,选用较硬挺的金属光泽感面料,具有现代感;而金银色在少数民族中又代表着黄金,白银,寓意为子孙代代发。这组作品以手工的温度感与现代艺术感结合,以概念服装形式呈现,且作品中的小三角可以持续使用,也可以变化出各种造型,它具有可持续性和发展性,诉说着源源不断的生命力。
