刘韪，清华大学美术学院设计学博士研究生。研究方向为服装艺术设计及理论研究。曾参与多项省、国家级课题，服装作品曾多次参与高校美术作品学年展等展览。

Liu Wei is a PhD candidate in theoretical study of design, Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University. His research direction is fashion art design and theoretical study. He has participated in a number of provincial and national projects. His fashion works have participated in different exhibitions such as art and design exhibition of Chinese universities.

《晓梦迷蝶》系列使用材料主要是真丝绡，通过手工制褶、高温热压与玉米淀粉纤维增强塑形的工艺，结合“一块布”的理念，以重现“羽化”的过程。从一方布，到一席褶，再到一件衣，通过“丝”这种物质性媒介的链接，是对蚕蛹吐丝作缚为茧，破茧羽化振翅的“生物性”质变过程的模仿与再现，以表现对于生命本体身份性的转换，对生命时间性、媒介性和物质性载体的思考。

The material used for this series is silk, which is pleated by hand, pressed at high temperature and reinforced with cornstarch fiber. Combining the concept of "a piece of fabric", it recreates the process of "eclosion". From a piece of fabric to series of pleats, and then to a clothes, through the medium link "silk" to represent the "biological" qualitative change process, and finally to transmit a kind of introspection to the life noumenon sexual identity transformation, timeliness, media and material carrier of life.
