Profile of the Artist

Luozheng, as a well-known designer in China, she was the winner of the 10th. Jing Ding Award, which is the Orscar in Costume Designing. She also participated in creating clothes for women leaders and first ladies as a main designer in APEC 2014. Now she is the CEO and Art Director of Shenzhen Oriental Fashion Co,.Ltd with two brands "Omnialuo" and "LUOZHENG"; She is also the Chairman of Shenzhen Fashion Culture Creative Association, member of Shenzhen CPPCC Standing Committee, vice chairman of the 8th session of Shenzhen Federation of industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce).

【璞玉说】的灵感来源于中国悠久的玉文化，作品采用真丝顺雨乔其、丝麻树皮皱、丝毛提花缎、花罗、真丝双绉等材质，运用热熔烫丝衬、手工钉珠绣、手工针绒、手工拨丝、手工渐变晕染、炒色茶染、手绘等十多种工艺，选取了米姜黄色、东皇玉色以及岩粽绒黄色等，表现出璞玉来源于土地，未经雕琢、浑然天成的自然质朴，以及世间万物皆归于泥土，却在经历了漫长的时间、空间的变换沉淀之后，从泥土中幻化重生，并焕发出生生不息的生命力量。结合洒脱自由、灵动飘逸的廓形设计，表现出当代设计师对于中国古代玉文化的深刻理解。

The Saying of Jade

‘The Saying of Jade’ is inspired by China's long-standing jade culture. The works uses different kinds of traditional silk Shunyu Qiaoqi, Silk hemp bark wrinkle, silk wool jacquard satin, Hualuo, Silk crepe de Chine etc, combining with varieties of ancient techniques such as Hot melt silk lining, hand-made nail bead embroidery, hand-made needle pile, hand-made thread pulling, hand-made gradual halo dyeing, fried tea dyeing, hand-painted and so on, shows the raw jade coming from the land naturally, and will return to the earth finally. But after a long time, they will reborn from the soil, and shine in an endless way. This free and easy, elegant works shows the deep understanding of Chinese ancient jade culture by Cindy Luo.
